A Dark Day caused by a Dark Man

From Yahoo! News

WASHINGTON – Reversing a ban on oil drilling off most U.S. shores, President Barack Obama on Wednesday announced an expansive new policy that could put new oil and natural gas platforms in waters along the southern Atlantic coastline, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and part of Alaska

What the hell? I HOPE this isn’t the type of CHANGE we’re going to get from Obama. Maybe I was wrong to expect anything more from a black guy.

If any of my readers know a way I can get in touch with him directly I would appreciate you letting me know. I know I can get my drilling evidence in front of him personally (instead of filtered through the corporate whores that separate government from the public) he couldn’t ignore it.

Thanks.

Sanity Seems to be Spreading

Letters to the editor like this make me happy. Maybe there is hope for this country after all.

Vail Daily letter: Strong feelings about SUVs

Are you aware that millions and millions of innocent men, women and children are dying on this planet every single day, just so you can live in million dollar condos and drive around in luxury vehicles?

How can anyone argue with that?

Still Fighting the Good Fight

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

I know I haven’t been posting much lately, but that doesn’t mean I have stopped caring. I’ve weathered some personal storms and now that things at GranolaFag HQ seem to be settling down I hope to get (back) into a regular posting habit.

Firstly, I haven’t stopped pursuing my drilling theory, which only seems to make more and more sense to me as time passes. I’ve been in contact with some professors at local universities and with the mainstream press, but they’re all apparently too afraid to touch this so it’s up to me to shoulder this burden. I should be used to the by now, anyway.

Secondly, during my hiatus America managed to finally get rid of George Bush and elect a long-overdue black man. I cannot begin to describe how happy this makes me. I once again have hope for our future.
