What a bunch of pussies the people of Louisiana have become after Katrina, evacuating the platforms???? In my day an un-named storm or a cat 1 in the gulf was cause to fire up the evinrud on the 16 foot whaler and head out to the platforms to sea what got washed up from the deep water.

I can’t even suck in air from my exhaust pipe for 7 seconds without getting violently sick, but somehow, billions of cars pouring death smoke into the atmosphere all day, every week, and every year since the 1600′s isn’t destroying the earth. Sure!

Well we don’t have a statistically significatn poupulation sample of weather data to know if gobal warm has any anthromorpogenic cause or not. Still with all the affects that humans has on the environment, water quality, air quality, the gulf hypoxia zone, it’s hubris to theink we don’t influcence the environment.
